Claypot Chicken Rice for lunch!

Drove to SS22, Damansara Jaya (Atria area) for lunch with my 2 colleagues, Rachel and Sue, last week. It was one of our usual excursion trip in our quest for real good food.  I suggested to have claypot chicken rice at a restaurant called Busy Corner. Went to this joint once before, recommended by my bosses, but decided to bring those 2 girls to try it as well.

Parking wasn't a real problem, with ample parking spots on both side of the road. The restaurant can be abit crowded during lunch time on week days, so go earlier if you can. We ordered a large pot of Original flavour and a small pot of Thai Style flavor. Besides this 2, there are other styles available too, such as Black Pepper, Seafood, Prawn and etc. There is no option of medium size, so you choose between the large (priced between RM10 to RM15 depending on the choice of style) or the small one (RM5-8). We also ordered "Choi Sum with Oyster Sauce" as a side dish.

We all thought the claypot chicken rice was OK, and prefer the Original Style over the Thai Style. The "Choi Sum" was really good though, you can tell its fresh from the green-ness of it. Apparently, one large and one small pot are just right for 3 person (one being a bigger eater like me ).

So yea, go there yourself to try it, you might have a different opinion about 'em. For me, I feel that this restaurant serves no more than an alternative than the so-so food around my working place at D'sara Heights. The claypot chicken rice is ok, but if I have the time and choice, I would definitely go down to Huen Kee in Pudu instead. If you are one of those workers that are stucked in a office area with limited decent food, do add Busy Corner into your list. It is certainly better than quitting your job due to the lack of good food, or is it? Hmmmm.......something to ponder about.

Busy Corner Restaurant

83, Jalan SS22/11,

Damansara Jaya,

40650 Selangor, Malaysia.

* Go for the toll plaza on your right after Eastin Hotel. Go straight over the flyover and then turn left into Atria area at the Sg Ara interchange. Then turn left at the traffic light junction and turn left again when you see the Petronas station. There will be a row of shophouses on your left now, the restaurant is in the middle of that row.
